Alexander Porfiryevich Borodin

Alexander Porfiryevich Borodin (1833-1887) - a Russian classical composer and chemist. He is one of the greatest composers of symphonies of the XIX century. He was a member of the group of Russian composers called The Five ("The Mighty Handful"). His famous opera "Prince Igor" contains a very popular fragment called "Polovtsian Dances".
